Studious B is the musical project of Brian C. Taylor, a multidisciplinary artist, author of philosophy, social criticism and independent filmmaker. Brian channels his unique perspective and disciplined creative energy (he’s Cyclothymic,) into alternative pop that challenges, inspires, and deeply connects. He also writes catchy tunes that make you want to dance!
Brian is Studious B, but Studious B is also a band.
Brian’s wife Dawn has joined the band and as a Duo, the third album Plastic World has been released.
Plastic World is a nine song collection of musical therapy and physical exercises. The album begins gently, with a promising love song, immediately becomes groovy, then intense, speeding up in tempo and intellectual context, before ramping down, cooling off and ending with another love song. Plastic World is an album with an intention, it wants you to think while you shake your ass.

New album will drop November, don’t have a title yet. I can tell you it will be sparser, louder, noisier, what with all the humans joining the band…
